Where Powerful Stories Find Their Voice

Back Cover Media is a Melbourne-based media and production studio led by host, presenter, and storyteller Mibengé. We specialise in crafting compelling narratives through premium video, podcasting, and content creation — helping brands and creators communicate with confidence and impact.

Our Purpose

We believe the best content begins with a clear and compelling story. Our mission is to help brands, leaders, creators, and organisations communicate with authenticity and confidence — through premium video, podcasting, interviews, editorial content, and on-screen storytelling.

Every project is guided by curiosity, clarity, and care.
We don’t just capture content — we shape narratives with meaning.

How Back Cover Media Began

Back Cover Media was born from a passion for storytelling and the desire to spotlight voices, experiences, and conversations that matter.
With a background in media, broadcasting, and journalism, we bring a trained ear, a polished aesthetic, and a deep respect for narrative quality to every piece of content we produce.

What started as a platform to share thoughtful conversations has grown into a full production studio trusted by brands, broadcasters, and creative leaders.

At Back Cover Media, our mission is to amplify diverse voices and drive social impact through inclusive, community-centred storytelling, media innovation, and public engagement.

We aim to inform, inspire, and empower by producing content that reflects the lived experiences of underrepresented communities, building platforms that challenge the status quo, and creating programs and events that foster equity, access, and cultural pride.

Whether through journalism, podcasting, training initiatives, or large-scale public events, we believe storytelling is a powerful catalyst for social connection, opportunity, and lasting change.

At Back Cover Media, we are proud to work with a dynamic and diverse collective of journalists, writers, producers, creatives, and community contributors. Our team includes First Nations professionals, people with disability, culturally and linguistically diverse contractors, and passionate volunteers—each bringing unique perspectives and lived experiences to the work we do.

Together, we’re united by a shared commitment to storytelling with integrity, impact, and inclusion. Whether developing breaking news, producing podcasts, delivering training workshops, or coordinating large-scale events, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
