The Back Cover Youth Creatives program offers immersive training for multicultural youth in media, empowering them to pursue careers in journalism, podcasting, social media, and videography. This program, backed by the Victorian Government, is committed to bridging the gap in media representation and providing participants with the tools they need to succeed.

There will be a dedicated mentorship session on September 5, 2025, where participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with an industry professional for personalized guidance and advice. Throughout the rest of the program, participants will attend presentations from industry professionals. They will have the chance to ask questions and gain practical knowledge and training, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in the media industry.

The program is primarily aimed at multicultural youth aged 18–25 who are passionate about media, storytelling, and digital content creation. However, the program is open to all Victorians, with a focus on supporting those in this age group.

No prior experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! The workshops cater to both beginners and those looking to build on existing skills.
You'll gain hands-on training in areas such as podcasting, videography, social media content creation, storytelling, and digital media strategy. You'll also have access to mentorship and real-world project opportunities.
